STREET STOCK

The street stock race car is any 1960 or newer full-bodied passenger car. The most popular types are the Camaro, Nova and Firebird. Engine claim is $425.00 or swap.

TEXAS CLASSIC DWARF CARS

Dwarf Cars are 5/8 scale models of 1928 through 1948 vintage American stock cars, both in coupe, sedan and pickup styles. They have 1220cc maximum motorcycle motors for more affordable racing. Dwarf cars will run a limited schedule at Texas Thunder Speedway during the 2010 season. Refer to the schedule for racing dates.

IMCA MODIFIED

An open wheel stock car that exploded onto the racing scene in 1979. The frame is a 1964 or newer American passenger car only. Engine claim $550.00 cash or $100 exchange.

IMCA STOCK CAR

One of IMCA's most popular classes, Stock Cars are synonymous with fast-paced excitement. Any US manufactured full bodied rear wheel passenger car. Must be 1970 or newer. Full frame – no unibody. Engine claim $550.00 or  $100 exchange.

IMCA SOUTHERN SPORTMOD

A new entry-level division is the I.M.C.A.
SportMod. This class gives new competitors the chance to experiment with modified racing at the lowest possible cost.  The Southern SportMod is an open wheel stock car. The frame is a 1960 or newer American Passenger car only.  Engine claim is $550.00  cash and exchange.

TEXAS TWISTER

These are not race cars...they are cars that race! Any sub-compact mid-size car, front wheel drive, that came OEM (original equipment manufacturer) with four/six cylinders.  Anyone can claim a car for $750 cash.  Click on rules for more info.
