Registration Fee = $40

Registration Fee will be WAIVED provided you give us the Owner's Title or 

Bill of Sale and leave the car at the track after the Derby.

 

**NEW RULES UPDATED **

RULES:   Must purchase Pit Pass/Band. Reinforcements are allowed. Body mounts can be changed. All glass and moldings must be removed. All doors must be chained or welded shut. Any door that opens, could be grounds for disqualification.  Safety belts, helmet and neck braces are required. Can move battery, but must be covered and secured with metal straps or bolted to the floor.  Fenders may be trimmed and motors chained. May remove fan. Radiators must remain in stock position. Drivers seat can be braced. Cars without electric fuel pumps in fuel tank, must have fuel cell (boat tank) secured in the trunk area.  No trailer hitches or frame braces.  No cutting frames. No trucks. No tires larger than 15".  Summer time passenger car tires filled with air only.  No solid/mud/implement type tires. Rear End may be locked. Fire Extinguishers required. All cars will be teched. These are the rules; if it doesn’t say you can do it, then you can’t.  All vehicles must be removed from the track unless a Owner Title is left with the car. Must hit a moving car every two minutes. Any registered race car from Texas Thunder may enter the derby and if they win they will be paid an extra $100.00!

**DEMO TRAILER RACE RULES  **

*TEXTING WHILE DRIVING ALLOWED!!

RULES:   Must purchase Pit Pass/Band. Reinforcements are allowed. Body mounts can be changed. All glass and moldings must be removed. All doors must be chained or welded shut. Any door that opens, could be grounds for disqualification.  Safety belts, helmet and neck braces are required. Fire suit recommended but not required. Long pants and long sleeved shirt needed and no flip flops! Can move battery, but must be covered and secured with metal straps or bolted to the floor.  Fenders may be trimmed and motors chained. May remove fan. Radiators must remain in stock position. Drivers seat can be braced. No cutting frames.  Summer time passenger car tires filled with air only.  Rear End may be locked. Fire Extinguishers required. All vehicles will be teched. Pickups, SUVs, VANS and any form of passenger vehicles are allowed!!  All vehicles must be removed from the track unless a Owner Title is left with the vehicle. Must have some form of contact every LAP or may possibly be disqualified. Race will be 20 laps. Trailer is required to start. Trailer does not have to be remaining for a car to win, however those with trailers remaining will be scored in the higher position if applicable. If your trailer gets knocked off, your goal is to knock the others' trailers off also!! These are the rules; if it doesn’t say you can do it, then you can’t. Any registered race car from Texas Thunder may enter the derby and if they win they will be paid an extra $100.00! GOOD LUCK!
